Continuous Thread Needle Case

T
hese clever needle cases feel so good in your hand.  The cause
of their cleverness is the threading of multiple needles on to one continuous thread. Simply take the top needle on your felt and pull the thread through to the length required, before cutting the thread. There is no stopping to thread another needle each time your thread runs out!

The user-friendly tutorial is on Youtube by Bookhou and includes a free printable pattern, too!!  The video tutorial  goes step-by-step and is easy to follow.  It includes detailed instructions for attaching the "yo-yo" side pieces. (called "Suffolk puffs" in England)

The link to the tutorial is https://youtu.be/Uy5-3FuXYSQ?si=s5DhJHBYuHDa4etN

You can download the template here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/14q0M...

The fun part is adding a cute button or fussy cut fabric hexagon.  As soon as I finished I wanted to make another one!

(To adjust the size of your case, measure the width of your thread bobbin and add or narrow the width of the main rectangle piece of the pattern. )
